This research aimed to examine, compare, determine the relationship, investigate the predictive power, and identify guidelines for developing school conflict management strategies affecting happy schools at Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools under Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample consisted of 287 participants, including 92 school administrators and 195 teachers from 65 Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools under Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 during the 2025 academic year. The research instruments included five - point rating scale questionnaires: one on conflict management strategies in schools and another on happy schools, with discrimination values ranging from 0.294 to 0.915 and from 0.647 to 0.908, and reliability coefficients of 0.955 and 0.975, respectively. In addition, an interview form was employed to explore development guidelines. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t - test, One - Way ANOVA, Pearson’s product - moment correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that: 1. The overall level of conflict management strategies in Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools was at a high level. 2. The overall level of happy schools in Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools was at the highest level. 3. The comparison results of conflict management strategies, classified by positions revealed statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level overall, whereas no overall differences were found when classified by work experience. 4. The comparison results of happy schools, classified by positions and work experience, revealed statistically significant differences overall at the 0.01 level. 5. Overall school conflict management strategies were positively correlated with Happy Schools at the 0.01 level of statistical significance, with a moderate correlation coefficient (rXtYt = 0.469). 6. Two conflict management strategies significantly predicted happy schools at the 0.01 level: collaboration and compromising. Together, these two variables accounted for 35.10 percent of the variance in happy schools. 7. The proposed guidelines for developing conflict management strategies in schools affecting happy schools in Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools consisted of two major strategies: 7.1) Collaboration. School administrators should promote teamwork and foster a collaborative organizational culture. 7.2) Compromising, administrators should provide opportunities for conflicting parties to negotiate, exchange opinions, and explain their reasons equally.
