      การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษา ความต้องการจำเป็นและหาแนวทางการดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพภายในของโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จังหวัดนครพนม กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา หัวหน้างานประกันคุณภาพ และครูผู้สอน สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จังหวัดนครพนม จำนวน 114 คน จำแนกเป็น ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา 18 คน หัวหน้างานประกันคุณภาพ 18 คน และครูผู้สอน 78 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ โดยแบบสอบถามมีค่าความเชื่อมั่น เท่ากับ 0.98 และการศึกษาแนวทางการดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพของโรงเรียนสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จังหวัดนครพนม จำนวน 3 โรงเรียน ใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ในการเก็บรวมรวบข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าดัชนีความสำคัญของความต้องการจำเป็น (Priority Needs Index Modified (PNI_modified)
       ผลการวิจัย พบว่า
            1. สภาพปัจจุบันของการดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพภายใน โดยรวม พบว่า อยู่ในระดับมาก และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
            2. สภาพปัจจุบัน จำแนกตามสถานภาพการดำรงตำแหน่ง โดยรวมและรายด้าน มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 จำแนกตามประสบการณ์ในการปฏิบัติงาน และจำแนกตามขนาดโรงเรียน โดยรวมและรายด้าน พบว่า แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ จำแนกตามสถานภาพการดำรงตำแหน่ง ประสบการณ์ในการปฏิบัติงาน และขนาดโรงเรียนโดยรวมและรายด้าน พบว่า แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
            3. ความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาการประกันคุณภาพภายในของโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จังหวัดนครพนมโดยเรียงลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการจำเป็นจากมากไปหาน้อย ดังนี้ 1) ด้านการดำเนินงานตามแผนพัฒนาการจัดการศึกษาของสถานศึกษา 2) ด้านการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และ 3) ด้านการติดตามผลการดำเนินการเพื่อพัฒนาสถานศึกษา
            4. แนวทางการพัฒนาการดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพภายในของโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จังหวัดนครพนมควรพัฒนา 3 ด้าน คือ ด้านการดำเนินงานตามแผนการจัดการศึกษาของสถานศึกษาด้านการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และด้านการติดตามผลการดำเนินการเพื่อพัฒนาสถานศึกษา

      This research aimed to examine the needs and guidelines for developing the operations of the internal quality assurance (IQA) in schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province. The research sample, obtained through multi - stage random sampling, consisted of 114 participants, including 18 school administrators, 18 heads of quality assurance departments, and 78 teachers working in schools under the Office of Private Education Commission. The instruments for data collection involved a set of questionnaires examining both current and desirable conditions, with similar reliability values of 0.98. The interview forms were also conducted in three schools to establish guidelines for quality assurance operations in schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province. Statistics employed for data analysis included frequency, mean, standard deviation, and the Priority Needs Index Modified (PNI_modified)
      The findings were as follows:
            1. The current condition of IQA operations was overall rated at a high level, whereas the desired condition was overall at the highest level.
            2. The current condition of IQA operations, classified by positions, both overall and in each aspect, showed a difference at the .01 level of significance. When considering work experience and school sizes, both overall and in each aspect, significant differences were observed at the .05 level. Similarly, for the desired condition, classified by positions, work experience, and school sizes, differences were found at the .05 level of significance, both overall and in each aspect.
           3. The needs for IQA development in schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province were prioritized in descending order of importance as follows: 1) Implementation of the school's educational management development plan; 2) Continuous improvement of educational quality; and 3) Monitoring of operational outcomes for school development.
           4. The proposed guidelines for developing IQA operations in schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province comprised three aspects for further development:
Implementation of the schools’ educational management development plans, Continuous improvement of educational quality, and Monitoring operational outcomes for school development.
