The purposes of this research were to examine, compare, and determine the relationship, to identify the predictive power, and to establish guidelines for developing the soft skills of school administrators affecting teachers’ happiness at work under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Sakon Nakhon. The sample consisted of 332 school administrators and teachers in the 2025 academic year, comprising 90 school administrators and 242 teachers. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table, and multi-stage random sampling was employed. The research instruments were questionnaires and an interview form. The questionnaires measuring school administrators’ soft skills and teachers’ happiness at work yields discrimination indices ranging from 0.330 to 0.633 and from 0.327 to 0.720, respectively, with reliability coefficients of 0.941 and 0.937. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t - test, F - test, Pearson's product - moment correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings were as follows: 1. The school administrators’ soft skills were overall at a high level. 2. The teachers' happiness at work was overall at a high level. 3. The comparison results of school administrators’ soft skills, classified by positions and school sizes, overall, showed no differences. 4. The comparison results of teachers' happiness at work, classified by positions and school sizes, overall, showed no differences. 5. The school administrators’ soft skills and teachers' happiness at work had a positive relationship with statistical significance at the 0.01 level, exhibiting a high correlation (rxtyt = 0.903**). 6. The school administrators’ soft skills that could predict teachers’ happiness at work included lifelong learning skills, professionalism and ethical skills, teamwork skills, creative communication skills, leadership skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
