The purposes of this research were to examine, compare, and investigate the relationship, to explore the predictive power, and to propose guidelines for enhancing the administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era that affected the learning ecosystem development (LES) in educational opportunity expansion schools (EOES) under Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample consisted of 315 participants, including 65 school administrators and 250 teachers from 65 EOES, during the 2025 academic year. The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s table, and multistage random sampling was employed. The research instrument comprised 5 - point rating scale questionnaires assessing the administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era and the LES development in schools, with discrimination values ranging from 0.246 to 0.802 and from 0.238 to 0.846, with reliability coefficient of 0.922, and 0.919, respectively. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent Samples t-test, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The interviews with ten experts were conducted to establish guidelines for enhancing the administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era affecting the LES development in schools. The qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis.
The findings were as follows: 1. The administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era were overall at the highest level. 2. The LES development in schools was overall at the highest level. 3. The administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era, classified by positions, showed statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level overall. However, when classified by school sizes, no overall differences were found. 4. The LES development in schools, classified by positions, showed no overall differences. However, when classified by school sizes, statistically significant differences were found at the 0.05 level overall. 5. The administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era and the LES development in schools were moderately positively correlated (rxtyt = 0.626**) with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. 6. The administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era that significantly predicted the overall LES development in schools at the 0.01 level included digital technology utilization skills in school administration, creative thinking skills and innovative schools, and visioning skills aligned with change. These variables jointly accounted for 42.00 percent of the variance. 7. The guidelines for enhancing the administrative skills of school administrators in the digital era affecting the LES development in schools involve three skills: 1) digital technology utilization skills in school administration, in which administrators should develop digital skills by utilizing information systems for administration, and strengthening digital leadership; 2) creative thinking skills and innovative schools, in which administrators should promote a creative culture to improve innovations, and support collaborative learning; and 3) visioning skills aligned with change, in which administrators should formulate visions consistent with changing contexts and continuously drive implementation into practice.
