การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ 2) เปรียบเทียบระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ ตามคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล และ 3) หาแนวทางการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีสิทธิรับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 321 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที (t - test) และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. คุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ( = 3.45) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน เรียงลำดับค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไปน้อย คือ ด้านสวัสดิการ ( = 3.51) รองลงมา คือ ด้านนันทนาการ ( = 3.49) ด้านที่อยู่อาศัย ( = 3.48) ด้านสุขภาพ และด้านรายได้ ( =3.39) ตามลำดับ
2. เปรียบเทียบคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ ตามคุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล สรุปผลได้ดังนี้
2.1 จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะด้านเพศและพื้นที่อยู่อาศัย พบว่า ภาพรวมและรายด้าน มีคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ ไม่แตกต่างกัน
2.2 จำแนกตามคุณลักษณะด้านอายุ สถานภาพ รายได้และระดับการศึกษา พบว่า มีคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
3. แนวทางการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับเบี้ยยังชีพผู้สูงอายุ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลวาริชภูมิ อำเภอวาริชภูมิ จังหวัดสกลนคร คือ ด้านสุขภาพอนามัยและด้านรายได้
The objectives of this study were: 1) to investigate the degree of quality of life of elderly people, who received a living subsidy, 2) to compare the degrees of quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy according to the personal background, and 3) to find a way to develop quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy. A sample used in the study was 321 elderly people who received a living subsidy. A questionnaire was used as the instrument in data collection; and statistics used in data collection were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
Findings of the study were as follows.
1. The overall quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy was at moderate level ( = 3.45). When considering each aspect by arranging them in descending order, the aspect that gained the highest mean score was of welfare ( = 3.51), followed by the aspects of recreation ( = 3.49), housing ( = 3.48), health ( = 3.39) and income ( = 3.39), respectively.
2. The comparisons of quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy according to the personal background can be concluded as follows:
2.1 As classified by sex and living area, quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy as a whole and individual aspects was found not different.
2.2 As classified by age, status, income, and educational attainment, quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy as a whole was found significantly different at the .01 level.
3. The way to develop quality of life of elderly people who received a living subsidy, Waritchaphum Sub-district Administration Organization, Waritchaphum District, Sakon Nakhon Province includes the aspects of health and income.
