การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัยที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัย หลังเรียนด้วยหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของเด็กปฐมวัยต่อหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัยหลังเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นเด็กปฐมวัย ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2559 โรงเรียนอนุบาลนวลมณี อำเภอเมืองสกลนคร จังหวัดสกลนคร สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา สกลนครเขต 1 จำนวน 17 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการเลือกสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดประสบการณ์เรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษ 2) แบบทดสอบความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ 3) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้ด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ และ 4) แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบค่า t-test ชนิด Dependent Samples
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. หนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัย พบว่า มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ เท่ากับ 78.09/87.94 สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75
2. การเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัย หลังเรียนด้วยหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบ พบว่า คะแนนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าคะแนนก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
3. การสังเกตพฤติกรรมการเรียนรู้ด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัยหลังเรียนด้วยหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบ พบว่า โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับดีมาก
4. ความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อหนังสือนิทานภาพประกอบเพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถด้านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของเด็กปฐมวัยหลังเรียน พบว่า โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับดีมาก (X?= 2.53, S.D. = .76)
The objectives of this study were: 1) to develop illustrated story books for promoting English vocabulary ability of Early Childhood students to meet the efficiency of 75/75, 2) to promote English vocabulary ability of Early Childhood after learning through the illustrated story books created by the author, 3) to examine Early Childhood student’s satisfaction toward the illustrated story books for promoting English vocabulary ability. The samples, selected by Cluster random sampling, was 17 Early Childhood students in the first semester of academic year 2016 at Nuanmanee Kindergarten School, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Education Service Area 1. The research instruments were: 1) English lesson plans, 21) An achievement test on English vocabulary, 3) a form of observation of English vocabulary learning behavior, and 4) a satisfaction assessment toward the Illustrated story Books. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test for dependent samples.
The findings were as follows:
1. The illustrated story books for promoting English vocabulary ability of Early Childhood students had the efficiency of 78.09/91.56 which was higher than the criterion set at 75/75.
2. The Early Childhood students’ English vocabulary ability after learning through the illustrated story books was found significantly higher than that of before at the .01 level.
3. The Early Childhood students’ English vocabulary learning behavior was found, as a whole at a high level.
4. The Early Childhood students’ satisfaction toward the illustrated story books for promoting their English vocabulary ability after the intervention was found, as a whole at the high test level.
